Q & A with Lucy

What is your Karaoke song?

It's a bit of a cliche, but it would have to be Mr. Brightside by the Killers.

Ideal holiday?

This is so hard to narrow down! I have family in France so I've been super lucky to have the opportunity to visit every few years. The food in Europe is unlike anywhere else, but if I'd had to pick... It would be Greece. I haven't been there yet and I'm really hoping to get there as a honeymoon destination! It's a bit of a trifecta, beautiful scenery, delicious food and incredible history/mythology (I love that stuff!)

What motivates you to work hard?

I love to build my knowledge base, I have a real distaste for not knowing how to do something!

What is your favourite thing about your career?

I get to build virtual spaces every day, to me that is the coolest thing. I'm a really big fan of virtual worlds and environments, I think the level of detail you can put into a space can tell a story, and I get to do that for real life people which inspires them to build that design in reality. It's such a unique process!

What is your favourite book?

The Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski

Which would you rather do: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house?

Vacuum the house, but only if I can use a Dyson vacuum. That thing has changed my adult life!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pasta... Or burritos. Italian and Mexican food, I could eat forever.

What's your favourite family recipe?

My Nan's devilled sausages and my Mami's paella.

What do you do to keep fit?

I started doing HIIT classes at the start of the year, the only way to get me to move is to put me in a class with 10 other people so I feel pressured into getting it done! Plus it's only half hour sessions, so it hurts but it's over quick!

Do you have a personal motto?

Trust your gut, if something doesn't feel right trust that. It's never let me down!
